Kaycee's Gonna KILL Me!

Kaycee was over the other night and we were both looking mighty pretty! You know...those days when a shower is the last thing on the list and greasy hair and no makeup are the way to go! So it just happened that the boys wanted to take some pictures and without knowing it Kaycee and I both sported our prettiest faces! When we looked back at the pictures we couldn't stop laughing! Check this out!

Garrett said..."Aunt Kaycee, it looks like you only have 2 teeth". Hill Billy Trailer Trash? You decide!

Or would you vote for the "MUSTACHE GIRL"? Is that really a mustache I have? Maybe I need to think about waxing:)LOL!

EVERYBODY NEEDS A TWIN!

Chase and Sawyer have so much fun together. It has been such a fun experience watching them grow up in the amazing world of TWINS! Sometimes they just go at each other wrestling and laughing and having all kinds of fun. I hope they always have such a close relationship.
Sawyer came up with this great idea to ride Chase. Chase went along with it like a trooper...Who's the bigger twin, Sawyer?

Chase is collapsing under the weight, but it was fun!

In the end, Chase usually gets the upper hand...It's just in his personality!

EVERYBODY NEEDS A TWIN!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Parker!

We got to celebrate Parker's 3rd birthday while they were in Douglas and all the kids were so cute while he blew out his candles and opened his presents. It's so fun to get together!

Aunt Leah holding Teeka and Kaeson
Sawyer, Parker and Chase getting ready for the party!
All the kids were so patient and helpful waiting for Parker to open his presents!

Hiking Grandpa Style!

The weather was incredibily nice in Douglas during our stay, so we were able to go on a couple short hikes down to the river with the kids. They always get so excited to go hiking with Grandpa.
Chase and Sawyer hitching a ride! The boys started to get a little cold as the sun went down, so Grandpa ended up carrying them home.

Uncle Loren, Garrett....And can you see baby Compton's head poking out? Compton even loved it.
Grandpa telling the boys stories about the "quick sand" in this area of the river when he was a little boy. They love his stories.
The hiking crew...Teeka and I are taking the picture!

Got Cousins?

You want cousins? We got cousins! Tiffany, Parker and Kaeson were in Douglas for a couple of weeks recently and we had a blast getting to see them all again. We miss them so much and can't wait for Lance to get out of dental school so they can be closer again someday. Only 3 years left! We are proud of you Lance!

Kaeson, oh Kaeson...is so cute and such a little fry. We decided he burns all of his calories trying to motor around. He isn't crawling yet, but spends much of his time on his hands and knees, standing on his toes or most recently in push-up position. He's a man in training...For what we have yet to determine!
Sawyer, Chase and Parker were little men on a mission. They spent much of their time together playing Dora the explore while Parker lead them around the house on an expedition. They were also caught elk hunting out of season and an elk even pooped on Sawyer's head and he couldn't shake it off. OH MY!
Grandma and Marcus....This is what happens when an adult wants to bond with Marcus. He is such a mama's boy, but has such a sweet tender personality. He reminds me a lot of Garrett.

Teeka and Marcus just chillin'! Marcus is so dang cute and the biggest mama's boy you'll ever met. But yet he socializes with all the cousins so well. He is the only one of the "new batch" that is crawling and he spends much of his time crawling from cousin to cousin getting to know them all.

Teeka, Kaeson and Compton just hangin' out after church.

We got to have Compton over the other night and we had so much fun with him. He got to sit in the exersaucer for the first time and loved it! We are going to miss him when they move to Utah! Garrett spent most of the evening telling me how to take care of Compton..."The way Uncle Loren does it"....and it really did work!

I didn't get any pictures of Avery because the poor girl was sick with the stomach flu almost the entire time she was there.:(

Bowling At Kagen's Birthday Party!

The boys got to go bowling for the first time ever. I know that sounds bad, but it has been a little tough for us to do things like this up to this point. No excusses, I know! But, the boys had a blast! Garrett was on cloud nine as he beat out all the kids that were bowling with him at his cousin Kagen's bowling party. I wonder where he gets his competitve side? He is definitely his daddy's son!

This is Garrett doing the victory dance!

Sawyer waiting for the results of his bowl....It took a while sometimes!

I was surprised Chase had enough in him to get that thing rollin', but he did a great job!
Kelsey, Sawyer & Chase. Kelsey is such a wonderful big cousin. She is always so helpful!

Getting ready for the birthday song and cake. This is always so exciting!
Kagen, ready to blow those candles out. I think he is thinking about his wish!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAGEN, WE LOVE YOU!

Pretty Girl!

Teeka is our pretty girl and she is growing so fast. She is almost 8 months old and that really blows my mind. She has been so much fun. She has recently added a third tooth and is working on her fourth. I would say that she is ready for steak and potatoes, but the girl is picky to say the least. She is totally resisting solid foods and I have resorted to feeding her solids through a syringe. She hates it, but she is definitely in need of more calories, so we will do this until she decides that mom really is the boss and gives in. Girls really are bossy, huh? I love it!

Teeka is defying all milestones and doing things at her own passe and exactly when she wants to and in no particular order. It cracks me up. I think that is that sassy little attitude again. If the book says do this now....she does it later! She is getting up on all fours and rocking and she army crawls and rolls all over the living room. She is getting into her bothers toys now and they are so patient with her. Things that they would get mad at each other for, they give Teeka kisses for. They are so good to her!

Teeka destroying the track the boys made...She received a kiss for it!

Teeka in the swimming suit the boys picked out for her.

Teeka grinding her teeth. She does this a lot. I think they are really hurting her.

Mom and Teeka enjoying good weather and going for a hike with the boys, Kaycee, Loren, Compton and Grandpa! She loved it!
